🐾 Meet & Greet Requirement

All new clients must complete a complimentary Meet & Greet before any services begin. This allows us to meet your dog, understand their needs, and make sure we're the right fit for each other.

Meet & Greets are free and can be arranged through our website. Existing clients introducing a new pet must also complete a Meet & Greet for that pet.

Note: We do not accept in-person visits to our home from clients we haven't met. If you'd like to see our space, we're happy to arrange a quick Zoom tour — just ask!

💉 Vaccination Requirements

All dogs must be current on the vaccinations required by law in British Columbia. We are not veterinarians and will not advise on which specific vaccines are required — please consult your vet to ensure your dog is up to date before your first service.

We reserve the right to request proof of vaccination at any time.

🐕 Dog Behaviour

We love all dogs, but the safety of every pet in our care comes first.

💳 Payment

Walks & Drop-in Visits: Payment is due after the service. We're flexible on payment schedule for regular clients — arrangements can be discussed at the Meet & Greet.

Boarding & Overnight Stays:

Example: A $200 boarding stay → $20 deposit at booking, $90 on drop-off, $90 on pick-up.

📅 Cancellation Policy

After-Hours & OT Fees

Our standard service hours are 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Services outside these hours are available but subject to an after-hours fee.

Situation Fee
Early drop-off before 8:00 AM $10/hr (rounded up at 30 min)
Late pick-up after 6:00 PM $10/hr (rounded up at 30 min)
Under 30 minutes early/late No charge — grace period
Example: Pick-up at 6:40 PM = 1 hr OT fee ($10). Pick-up at 6:25 PM = free.

🔑 Keys & Home Access

We take the responsibility of holding your keys very seriously. Keys are kept secure and used only for scheduled services.

🌧️ All-Weather Service

We walk in all weather conditions. Vancouver's weather is unpredictable and we believe dogs deserve consistent exercise regardless of rain, wind, or overcast skies.

Services are only cancelled in cases of extreme weather warnings (e.g., severe wind or thunder/lightning) — and only after direct communication with you.

📸 Photos & Social Media

We love sharing the joy our walks bring! We may take photos of your dog during services and share them on our social media channels.

We will always ask for your consent during the Meet & Greet or at the start of your service arrangement. If you prefer your dog not to be featured, just say so — we'll respect that completely, no questions asked.

🏥 Emergency Veterinary Care

Your dog's safety is our top priority. In the event of a medical emergency during our care, we are authorized to take your dog to the nearest veterinary clinic without delay.

Please ensure your emergency contact information and your vet's details are up to date in our records.
